Welcome to Laura Writes. I'm a daydreaming blogger with a fondness for lipstick, cake and tea. I live in a small Welsh seaside town with my husband Gareth and Ted, our cheeky 18 month old pup. As beautiful as the beach can be, I am a city girl at heart and long to live in New York City, a special, magical place that stole my heart when we honeymooned there in December 2012.
Laura Writes is my little corner of the internet. It started it's journey as a beauty blog, dedicated to pretty lipsticks and the everlasting search for an industrial strength concealer suited to my mammoth undereye shadows. Over time it has evolved into an online lifestyle journal, sharing fragments of my life, loves, adventures and inspirations.
